He was “doctoring” the I don’t always drink when I’m camping oh wait yes I do shirt work and repair logs. One particular incident a machine was down almost the whole day while Ed scrambled around trying to figure out what was wrong. Meanwhile, I was involved with multiple repairs and was so busy that we never crossed paths until about 7 hours into the day. “Nah, I got it,” he said. I asked him what was wrong and he said that there was a broken wire inside of the flex conduit. I found this strange as it was a VERY RARE occurrence, so I asked him if he had checked the switches (exposed micro-switches). Due to the excessive daily vibrations and constant immersion in cooling fluid the switches REGULARLY failed.

At this I don’t always drink when I’m camping oh wait yes I do shirt point Ed looked at me like I’d grown a unicorn horn from my forehead. So, I grabbed a voltmeter and checked. There was a BAD SWITCH! Max. 20–30 minute repair that ended up being 8.5 hours (yep, even OVERTIME. Ed had taken so much stuff apart that it took quite a while to put the machine back together! Ed doctored the logs and reversed the roles making it look like I was the idiot that spent all day tearing a machine down for what should have been a quick fix. while he fixed all the other machines that day. I didn’t know about it since Ed was responsible for the logs. The company Exec. VP brought me into his office and showed me the logs.
